The Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) helps keep families safe and healthy through initiatives that assist families with energy costs. We provide federally funded assistance in managing costs associated with home energy bills, energy crises, weatherization and energy-related minor home repairs.

This HOPE program is designed to provide low-income tribal members with supplemental assistance during genuine crisis situations, while also increasing the understanding and significance of self-sufficiency in daily living.

To qualify for Elder Care Program services, an elder must be an enrolled member of the Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes and age 55 or over. An elder qualifies upon his or her 55th birthday. In addition, an annual application must be completed and submitted to the Elder Care Program. The initial application must include a copy of a CDIB. All applications must be signed, dated and match the enrolled name listed in the Department of Enrollment.
